Quantum is Latin for "quantity" and Royal Caribbean's latest mega-cruise ship has plenty of it, with 16 passenger decks, 19 restaurants, and more toys and gadgets than any other luxury liner. Mighty Ships invites you on a 12-day tropical adventure aboard Quantum of the Seas, as she embarks on her first-ever full-length cruise to the Southern Caribbean. Packed with more technological innovations than any other cruiser, she may be a floating amusement park for her 4,000 guests, but for Captain Ban and his crew, this is no time to play.

Hawk is the weightlifting champion of the seas, able to lift and move massive cargo, from oil rigs to other Mighty Ships, from one side of the world to another. Follow this semi-submersible transport vessel on her most challenging haul yet: delivering the 36,000-ton Maersk Interceptor, the biggest jack-up drilling rig on the planet, from Singapore to Stavanger, Norway. It's a mission that will test Hawk's stability, and the captain's skill, as they battle against notorious traffic in Singapore and the tempestuous seas of Western Africa.

Heavy lift transport vessel Happy Star was built to be one formidable lady, and her first big mission will test just how tough she is. She's en route from China, to the Caribbean, to Quebec, carrying some of the world's heaviest industrial equipment on her massive deck. However, engine breakdowns, ice and the unforgiving conditions of the North Atlantic are threatening the job at every turn. Join her on this voyage of extremes, a journey and job with tight deadlines, delicate maneuvers, and high stakes from start to finish.

The pressure is on bulk freighter Algoma Equinox as she nears the end of her first full season on the Great Lakes. Her captain is hoping to squeeze in one more trip of deliveries before the seaway's winter shutdown, but a faulty pump and the notorious "Gales of November" have other ideas. Follow this Mighty Ship through brutal weather and tight quarters as she carries 30,000-tons of grain and iron ore across four of the five Great Lakes, through a massive series of canals, and into some very angry weather.

HDMS Peter Willemoes is a Royal Danish warship built for 21st century combat, equipped with sophisticated detection systems and powerful weapons. But before her crew can take her out to sea, they've got to prove they have what it takes to fight off enemy threats. Enter restricted waters and witness the series of intense battle simulation exercises her sailors must pass in order to join the multinational NATO Response Force. The stakes are high, but fortunately, they have one of the world's most advanced frigates on their side.

The largest offshore drilling jack-up rig on Earth, Maersk Interceptor, is being deployed for the first time and her grand debut promises to be one bumpy ride.
